The objective is to be the first player to move from a designated starting line to tag the “Traffic Light” (the leader) at the finish line without being caught moving during a “Red Light” call. How to Play
Select the Traffic Light: One person is chosen to be the “Traffic Light” (or “caller”). They stand at the far end of the playing area (finish line) with their back to the other players.
Start the Game: All other players line up side-by-side at the starting line.
Green Light: The Traffic Light calls out “Green Light!” while facing away from the group. Players move as quickly as they can toward the finish line.
Red Light: The Traffic Light abruptly calls “Red Light!” and turns around to face the players. All players must freeze in place immediately.
Catching Movers: The Traffic Light scans the group. Any player caught still moving or failing to stay frozen must return to the starting line.
Winning: The game continues until one player reaches the Traffic Light, tags them, and wins. That winner becomes the new Traffic Light for the next round. Essential Rules & Tips
Frozen Penalty: If you move during “Red Light,” you go back.
No Peek Constraint: The Traffic Light must have their back turned during the “Green Light” phase to allow for fair movement.
Instant Freeze: The key is to stop instantly; partial motion or momentum counts as breaking the rule.

Yellow Light: Add a “Yellow Light” command, instructing players to walk slowly or move in slow-motion.
Other Colors/Moves: Include other colors (e.g., “Purple Light” for skipping, “Blue Light” for hopping) to add fun, movement-based constraints.
Hearing Impaired Version: The Traffic Light simply turns their back for Red Light and turns around (faces the group) for Green Light.
Indoor Version: To play inside, eliminate running and require hopping, walking heel-to-toe, or slow-motion moves.
